These terms govern your use of deskmova.com and any purchase you make from Deskmova LLC ("Deskmova", "we", "us"). By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. The product

Deskmova designs and produces small-batch ceramic objects. At the time of writing, our first object — the Puffer Vessel — is in pre-launch. It will be offered for sale through Kickstarter in Q3 2026. Until that launch, no purchases can be made directly through this site.

Once available, each piece is handmade. Dimensions, weight, glaze tone, and surface texture vary slightly between pieces. These variations are part of the work, not defects.

2. Orders

An order is an offer to buy. We accept the offer when we send a written order confirmation by email. Until then, we may decline or cancel an order for any reason, including pricing errors, stock issues, or suspected fraud.

Prices and availability are subject to change without notice. Taxes and duties, where applicable, are calculated at checkout or assessed by the carrier on delivery.

3. Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe and, where applicable, Kickstarter. We do not store full payment card details on our servers. By placing an order you authorise the payment processor to charge the total at the time of confirmation, or — for Kickstarter pledges — at the time the campaign concludes successfully.

4. Shipping

We ship from the United States. Estimated shipping windows are listed at checkout and in the Kickstarter campaign. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees, and may be affected by carrier delays, customs, or events beyond our control.

Title and risk of loss pass to you when the carrier accepts the package. Lost or damaged shipments should be reported to us within 14 days of the expected delivery date so we can open a claim with the carrier.

5. Returns and refunds

You may request a return within 14 days of delivery for any reason. The piece must be returned unused, in its original packaging. Return shipping is at your expense, unless the item arrived damaged or was sent in error.

Once the return is received and inspected, we issue a refund to the original payment method within 10 business days. Original shipping charges are refundable only if the return is the result of our error or a damaged shipment.

Kickstarter pledges are governed by Kickstarter's own terms in addition to these. Refunds on pledges made through Kickstarter are processed through Kickstarter where possible.

6. Defects and damaged shipments

If a piece arrives broken or with a defect that goes beyond the expected variation of a handmade object, contact us at hello@deskmova.com within 14 days of delivery, with photos. We will replace, repair, or refund at our discretion.

7. Intellectual property

All text, images, designs, and other content on deskmova.com are owned by Deskmova LLC or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from the content without our prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial reference.

The names Deskmova, MOVA, Puffer Vessel, and related marks are trademarks of Deskmova LLC.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the site to do anything unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent, including but not limited to attempting to gain unauthorised access, interfering with the site's operation, or submitting false information.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The site and the products are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Deskmova disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Deskmova LLC, its officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising from your use of the site or any product purchased from us. Our total liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Deskmova LLC harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site.

12. Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of the site will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Before filing a claim, you agree to first contact us at hello@deskmova.com and attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be notified on the site or by email where appropriate. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
